Who we are
Zentru Lite (“Zentru”, “we”, “us”) provides legal-document templates and a planning workspace for individuals and families. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address, optional display name, and authentication identifiers from Google sign-in if you use it.
- Document data — the contents of templates you fill in (names, addresses, asset descriptions, etc.). We treat this as confidential.
- Payment data — handled directly by Stripe. We never see your card details. We store a Stripe customer ID and the receipt URL for the Lite unlock.
- Operational data — basic logs (timestamps, IP addresses, user agents) used for security and debugging.
What we do not collect
Zentru Lite is an instructional planning product. We deliberately reject sensitive credentials at the database level. You cannot store SSNs, seed phrases, private keys, account passwords, PINs, or full bank account numbers in our system — the database refuses them.
How we use your data
- To operate the planning workspace and generate your PDFs.
- To authenticate you and protect your account.
- To process the one-time Lite payment via Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, silent reporting reminders you opt into).
We do not sell your data, do not show third-party advertising, and do not use your document contents to train models.
Where your data lives
Document data is stored in our managed Postgres database with row-level security so only you (and admins for support purposes) can access it. Attachments are stored in a private storage bucket with the same owner-scoped access rules. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Your rights
You can export your data and delete your account at any time from Account Settings. On deletion we remove your profile, documents, and attachments within 30 days. Receipts retained for tax and accounting purposes are kept for 7 years as required by law.
EU/UK residents: you have GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Email privacy@zentru.app to exercise them.
California residents: you have CCPA/CPRA rights of access, deletion, and opt-out from sale (we do not sell data).
Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and row-level security policies on every table. We run automated tests on these policies in CI. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to security@zentru.app.
Children
Zentru Lite is not intended for children under 18.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be announced by email and on this page at least 14 days before they take effect.
